Egyptian Mood

The temporary exhibition “Egyptian Mood. Percorsi di moda e bellezza, ispirati all'antico Egitto” is the result of an Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro project.

Students and teachers from different Upper Secondary Schools worked together with one of our curators, Alessia Fassone, in order to design and create clothes and accessories inspired by the Ancient Egyptian culture.



The schools that took part in the exhibition, along with the project leader Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Romolo Zerboni, are the following:

Istituto Galileo Ferraris di Settimo Torinese;

I.I.S. Bodoni Paravia di Torino;

Scuole San Carlo di Torino;

I.T.S. TAM Biella;

Politecnico Calzaturiero della Riviera del Brenta.



The exhibition is on display on the second floor of the Museo Egizio, from the 29th of May to the 16th of June 2018; on Monday, from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.; from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. The entrance to the exhibition is included in the museum ticket.
