Dal lunedì al sabato dalle ore 9:00 alle 18:30
The round table “Fundraising for Art and Culture: What Challenges for Cultural Institutions in Italy?” offers a valuable opportunity to reflect on the topic of private funding in the cultural sector, drawing inspiration from the recently published book "Fundraising per l'arte e la cultura" by Francesca Pecoraro (Arts Manager), Alex Turrini (Professor of Arts Management and Cultural Policy, Bocconi University), and Mark Volpe (former General Manager of the Boston Symphony Orchestra) – Egea Edizioni.
The discussion will cover cultural philanthropy, as well as the levers and tools available to cultural professionals, including digital tools.
The book's authors—Francesca Pecoraro (Arts Manager), Alex Turrini (Professor of Arts Management and Cultural Policy, Bocconi University), and Mark Volpe (former General Manager of the Boston Symphony Orchestra)—will discuss these topics with Samanta Isaia (Managing Director of Museo Egizio) and Christian Greco (Director of Museo Egizio).
The round table presents a unique opportunity to explore how fundraising can become a tool not only for the financial support of cultural institutions but also for social and cultural development, based on reciprocal relationships and the shared creation of value.
In collaboration with the Arts & Culture Knowledge Center.
October 18, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Museo Egizio, Conference Room
Free entry, by reservation through Eventbrite at THIS LINK
The event can also be followed online, live and on-demand, on the Museo Egizio’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
