IO SONO BENVENUTO – I AM WELCOME

During the Refugee Week (which lasts from the 13th to the 20th of June 2018), the Museo Egizio organizes “IO SONO BENVENUTO” (“I am welcome”), an entire evening full of activities taking place at the museum, for free.

On Saturday, the 23rd of June 2018, from 7.00 pm to 11.30 pm, music fills the museum rooms: with 8 choirs and other special guests.

Starting from 7:00 pm, entrance to the museum is free. In exchange for the free entry, each visitor is asked to write or draw a welcome message and place it on the Welcome Wall, a great symbol of openness and welcome.

Furthermore, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, the North African community shows around the Egyptian collections. The activity is organized in collaboration with Mondi in Città Onlus.
