From Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

On Monday, 19 May at 6:30 PM, we will host a conversation with artist Sara Sallam and curator Paolo Del Vesco.

Together, they will explore themes of displacement, the dispersion of cultural heritage, and the building of an empathetic relationship with objects as a way to heal the wounds of a colonial past that is still too present in many museum collections. Through the presentation of her works and the site-specific installation created for the Museo Egizio, Sara Sallam will take us on an artistic journey between the Netherlands, Italy, and ancient and modern Egypt.

Free event with mandatory reservation on Eventbriteclick HERE to reserve your spot.

After the talk, visitors will have free access to view the artist's installation and the Gallery of Kings.

In the days following the event, the conference will also be streamed on the Museo Egizio’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

This event is part of the Salone OFF 2025 program and is organized on the occasion of EXPOSED - Torino Foto Festival (April 16 – June 2, 2025)  within the framework of the "Echoes" program.

Sara Sallam's art installations for the Museo Egizio have been made possible thanks to the support of the Mondriaan Fund, a Dutch organization dedicated to visual arts and cultural heritage.
