Since 1824, the year of its founding, the Museo Egizio has been a dynamic center of ongoing research.
Research and passion guide the work at the Museum, key words that our members have chosen to describe You&ME, the membership program of the Museo Egizio, along with the desire to discover the museum, the collections, and the stories they tell.
In the bicentennial year of its founding, we have gathered the testimonies of some members, with the aim of conveying the perspective of those who have confidently chosen to support the Museo Egizio and its transformation, along with the thoughts of the museum staff, to illustrate the strong bond between the members and the Museum.
The members are the community of enthusiasts and supporters of the Museo Egizio that encompasses the entire public. Thanks to four membership options—Under 14, Under 26, Friend, and Supporter—it is possible to venture behind the scenes of the Museum and experience it firsthand with a dedicated program of activities. The newsletters and initiatives reserved for members allow them to stay updated on the work conducted by all the professionals who animate the Museum and create an even closer bond with the Museum and the researchers who work there.
Membership fees also represent concrete support for research activities, the care of artifacts, and the future of the Museum.
