Dei e faraoni a Torino – Archivissima 2024

On the occasion of the 2024 edition of Archivissima - The Night of the Archives, the Egyptian Museum and the Giubergia Foundation are presenting a very special event: a unique opportunity to discover early 19th century Turin, when statues of gods and pharaohs arrived in the city, giving rise to the world's oldest museum of Egyptian antiquities.

Three guided tours by Beppe Moiso and Tommaso Montonati of the exhibition "Towards the New Gallery of the Kings" and musical moments from Giuseppe Verdi's Aida curated by the Giubergia Foundation, along with an exhibition of 19th century documents from the Egyptian Museum Archive.

 

The three guided tours, followed by their respective musical moments, will be held at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM.

Admission is free, with mandatory reservation on Eventbrite.
