What are the new frontiers of the digital world, and how can it serve research and enhance the material experience? During the Researchers’ Night, on Friday, September 29th, from 7 PM to 12 AM, at the Museo Egizio we will explore some of the possibilities offered by new technologies to document and study, reconstruct and restore otherwise lost contexts.
It’s a unique evening to venture into three-dimensional models like real archaeologists, see for the first time wall decorations reunited with their original architectures, travel within an archaeological excavation, and explore the materiality of ancient artifacts, discovering unprecedented details.
Tickets for the Researchers’ Night must be purchased online, and the entrance fee during the event is 5 euros, family rate: 10 euros.
