Take care of ME. Museo Egizio first fundraising campaign

Since 1824, the year of its foundation, the Museo Egizio has continued to evolve, grow, and improve. But its mission has not changed. It gives us a common aim: that of deepening our knowledge of the objects in our custody and handing them down to the next generations, so that these objects may keep telling the story of the women and men who created them, used them, loved them, and then let go of them, before they came down to us.

This year, when everything has come to a standstill, this task has become even more of a challenge. We have felt that strong tension that announces great changes. It was clear from the start what our new aim would be: that of not breaking off our dialogue; that of bringing the Museo Egizio to your homes.

We work every day to make sure that everyone feels welcome in our space, be it physical or virtual, and can keep discovering the endless stories our collection can tell. Your contribution is crucial for us to keep writing biographies of objects. Support research, study, and the telling of stories about artifacts.

We want to keep doing what we are best at: being your Museo Egizio.
