From Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Museo Egizio launches its scientific lectures program for the 2025 season: a rich schedule of events to discover ongoing research on the collection, directly from the experts conducting it. The program will delve into new discoveries, the latest excavations, and the most important international archaeological studies.

Jean Winand will open the conference season on March 6 at 6:30 PM with a talk on the Mensa Isiaca, followed by a series of events featuring both international researchers and the Museum’s curators. The cycle of conferences will conclude on July 22 with a lecture by the Director of the Museo Egizio on the "Book of Gates."

Thanks to the valuable collaboration of ACME (Amici Collaboratori del Museo Egizio), attendees will have the opportunity to hear the latest developments in Egyptological research directly from scholars from Italian and international universities and research institutes. The event series is also organized in collaboration with the Dipartimento Studi Storici at the University of Turin.

During lectures held in English, a simultaneous translation service will be available for the audience in attendance.

All conferences will take place in the Conference Hall, with free entry upon reservation via Eventbrite.

All events will also be streamed live on the Museo Egizio’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
