From Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Museo Egizio is actively reflecting on its audiences and aims to involve younger generations in a more direct and meaningful way. The museum has embarked on an important transformation process – which will culminate in the creation of a new public square in its central courtyard – with the goal of becoming more accessible, dynamic, and open to the city.
But what should the museum of tomorrow look like?
Listening to tomorrow’s audiences
To explore this question, the Museo Egizio is widening its perspective by engaging those who are most likely to become its future visitors.
For this reason, we want to gather the specific views of people under 30.
The aim is to shape the museum as a place to be lived every day, much like a university campus – for study, leisure, and social life.
A short questionnaire
We have created a brief survey primarily aimed at under-30s, but open to anyone who wishes to share their voice. It takes just a few minutes to complete and provides a valuable contribution to the museum’s development.
The questionnaire focuses in particular on:
• perceptions of the museum from the outside
• cultural programming and events
• social media communication
A small number of essential questions designed to open a direct dialogue with younger audiences and gather useful insights.
Why take part
The responses will directly contribute to shaping the future Museo Egizio, helping to make it an increasingly vibrant and welcoming space, also beyond the traditional museum visit.
Part of a wider journey
This survey is part of a broader set of initiatives aimed at making under-30s more central to the museum’s life.
These include “dialogue-based presentations”: editorial events where students actively contribute to discussion, sharing their perspectives and engaging with the wider public.
The museum of tomorrow is built on ideas like yours.

The questionnaire is also available in English, French, and Spanish.
